The terms you can actually read.
No WHEREAS. No defined terms. This is the page that tells you who runs arc10.io, what the site is for, and what we don't promise — written so you can read it once and understand it.
Arc10, in Toronto.
arc10.io is published by Arc10, an engineering studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. When you read “we,” “us,” or “Arc10” on this page, that is who we mean.

Reading, not transacting.
arc10.io is a marketing site. It exists so you can decide whether to email us. You don't buy anything here, sign anything here, or create an account here. There is no account.
If we agree to do work together, the work itself is governed by a separate, signed engagement letter — not by this page. See §5.
Don't break it. Don't break the law.
The rules for using this site are short:
- Read it. Share links. Quote it with attribution.
- Don't scrape it at malicious rates, attempt to break it, attempt to break into it, or use it to break something else.
- Don't impersonate us, our team, or our clients.
- Don't do anything that's already illegal where you are.
If you do break those, we may block you from the site or take other reasonable action. Repeat offenders get reported.
Our words, our marks.
The text, layout, design, and brand elements on this site are copyright Arc10 unless noted otherwise. The Arc10 name and logo are our marks. Don't reuse them to imply endorsement or affiliation we haven't given you.
Code samples in our writing are different — each post states the license that applies to its code, and that license governs the code in that post. Quote the prose with attribution; use the code under the license it carries.
Real work needs a real contract.
Nothing on this site is an offer to do work, a promise to do work, or a contract for work. If you want us to build something with you, that is a conversation. It ends in a signed engagement letter or statement of work. Until that is signed, neither of us is committed.
Once it is signed, that document — not this page — defines the scope, price, timeline, warranties, IP assignment, confidentiality, and liability for the work.
As is. We try; we don't guarantee.
arc10.io is provided as is. We try to keep the site accurate, online, and free of malicious content. We don't guarantee any of those outcomes for any specific moment in time.
To the extent the law lets us limit it, Arc10's liability for anything arising out of your use of arc10.io is limited to what you paid us to use the site — which is zero. If the law in your jurisdiction requires more, this clause is limited to what the law allows there, and the rest stays in force.
Liability for paid work is handled in the engagement letter for that work, not here.
Ontario, Canada.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes about this site that can't be resolved by emailing us go to the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
This choice of law does not strip you of consumer protections you already have where you live.
Read the date.
The “Last updated” line at the top of this page is the authoritative timestamp. If we make a material change to these terms, we update the date in the same change. Continuing to use the site after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
Material changes that affect what data we collect get reflected on /privacyin the same pull request — that's the rule, not a hope.
Email us.
Anything about these terms goes to hello@arc10.io. Same address as the rest of the site. Same person reading it.
